BILL GRANT

Old Artist. New Writer. Born Storyteller.

Portrait 3.jpg

EVERYONE HAS
A STORY.

Mine is that I have always been the one who tells them.

Throughout my long career, I have worn many creative hats in this pursuit, including those of artist, creative director, strategist, and even cartoonist. The whole time, I had one mission- to tell a great story. Now, after 40 years, I have chosen to trade my pencil for a pen to pursue the written word, guided by what has always been my creative North Star: the power of intense, close observation.

I hope you enjoy the work. More importantly, I hope that in reading it you find that essential element crucial to any good tale: a tiny, shining diamond of truth.   Cheers.

ROUGE AGENT

Billy Nickels sat staring at the blinking cursor, feeling like a nerd on his first date. Whatever possessed him to take this job, he did not know. He only knew he needed money to survive in the Dark Machine.
